One of people's biggest complaints about the iPhone last time around was the lack of flexibility when it came to SIM card use. You simply could not switch out the SIM card--even to a different AT&T one!

This is a great option for those that can afford the one-time phone purchase price but not the recurring monthly bill. At just $20 a month, you get unlimited data and if you need to chat, just add some dollars to your account. Simple stuff, really.
But take heed first gen iPhone users! the GoPhone SIM card will not work on the fly for you and requires the recently released PwonageTool. All other SIM cards do work, however, as do all SIM card types (including GoPhone) on the iPhone 3G.
